Ingredients

mustard oil

small red onion

grated ginger

peeled and chopped apples

chopped dates

golden raisins

vinegar

red chili powder

large saffron

ground cardamom
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, over low heat, saute onion, ginger, and oil until translucent. About 3 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Stirring often.
Turn off the heat and cool completely before storing in jars.
Notes
This chutney keeps well in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
